Metamorphosis
In my newest series below I have started to play with the idea of change. Much of my work deals with change or rather the fear in changing. It has been the desire to hold onto the safety in what is already known. These images are a product from me working through the anxiety in change.
While these images are now DIGITAL, (yikes) I have used my camera in the same way I would have used my film based camera. These are long exposures and all of the layering is done at the time of exposure and NOT in post production. I'm a purist in that way I suppose. I enjoy hanging out in dim lighting while I paint light onto a sensitive material.
